Summary of Semester

 During this semester, I have written various blogs about different types of health problems. Throughout this time I talked about mental health, vaccines, and how to reduce risks of getting cancer. All of these are major issues in today's world that can be addressed through such messages. Each blog consisted of an imaged designed by me to help the reader visual see the importance of the health issue along with a short summary of why this issue was important and how it related to the topic we studied that week. 

Some other messages that could effectively promote public health would be to target college kids who tend to get sick in the beginning of the semester, with everyone coming back to school its common that kids get sick. The message would be filled with tips on how to avoid getting sick and if you do what you should do to avoid spreading the virus. 

The skills I learned during this semester can be applied toward my career in the future from learning how to create a blog and visual aids to go along with each blog. This will be helpful as the job I have right now I am about to start writing blogs and using Canva to create posters to go along with the blogs I create. Another skill I learned in this semester was how to narrow down a target audience and the importance of that, going along with that the various theories we learned and the different ways that people respond to information they receive from public health messages. 

I hope to learn how to better write blogs as well as come up with more creative way to make posters or infographics and not just get the ideas from the templates provided.
